​Carol was born in rural England and lived most of her life

there. She has had a passion for art since she first picked

up a pencil and paintbrush and has always loved drawing

people in particular.  Carol first moved to Virginia in 2004.​

Carol is mostly self-taught, but has completed the equivalent

of an associate's degree in fine art and attended many art

workshops and classes - learning, experimenting, and

improving her skills along the way. Carol worked in the travel

industry for over 17 years, and her love of travel and art

combined give her a wide-ranging view of different art styles

and techniques.
  

In 2005, when her daughter started school, Carol began working on murals and commissions and set up CWZ  Artscapes.  In 2011 she re-located to Eastern Europe, where she taught art classes to ex-pats.  Carol found new inspiration in the culture, and she began painting daily.

 

Now back in Virginia, Carol is eager to continue creating murals and fine art paintings for customers across the country and around the world.
